Track work out:
4 x 800 and 5 x 400 Rest: 400 rest after the 800?s and 200 rest after the 400?s. My words of wisdom are few: Keep the 800?s honest and don?t go to fast on the last 400 and pull a muscle.
If you?ve never led a 800 before in your group, tell the group that you want to lead and to give you a head start. I guarantee that it will be your fastest 800 as the adrenaline will be flying.
Make sure you do a proper cool down. At least a mile+.
