New Forum Registrations are now a lot easier for new members

If you've tried to register on this forum and failed in the few months, then please retry now.
We were getting lots of trouble with spambots, and our capcha tool was too hard for people to crack, but still too easy for the spambots to crack.
We've now installed a new reCapcha tool, you'll have seen it before on other sites.
Hopefully anybody who has failed to create an account can now do so.

I just sent you a pm on this. I didn’t realize that you are utilizing captcha . Anyways I think you made it too easy even the most primitive spam bots are able to register

We're using google's reCaptcha utility, which is supposed to be the best of the mainstream captcha tools. Before that we were getting umpteen registrations every day, now it's one or two a week. However we previously had administrator approval for all new users, now we've allowed users to be automatically approved once registered. Since this was the second one this week to register and post ads for junk, I've reverted it to administrator-approval.
