Marvin Hawkins
The newest addition to our Millburn staff, Marvin recently retired after 29 years of teaching at Irvington High School, where he was also the track coach since 1991. He was named Conference Coach of the Year on multiple occasions, and the Star Ledger 2005 NJ Coach of the Year. He was also recognized amongst the Who's Who of American Teachers in 1994, 1996, 2004, and 2006.
As an athlete, Marvin competed in a wide variety of events, running multiple track events in high school at Essex Catholic HS, as well as cross country. Currently he is in training for the Philadelphia Marathon this fall.
